The itinerary of the trip was through Venice, Padwa, San Marino, Loreto, Assisi and Rome. The participants visited marvelous sacred and secular monuments of the towns. A special significance was given to the visit in Civitanova Marche – Skawina’s twin town. Here a Mass was celebrated in which the pilgrims who visited Skawina in August 2006 took part. Then there was a common dinner which was prepared by Mrs Fiammetta Marozzi and the Italian pilgrims. Also gen. Paweł Dernowski took part in the dinner, who in his speech emphasized his relations with Skawina. The pilgrimage of Skawina teachers and students will surely contribute to closer relations between Skawina and Civitanova Marche.
